Michael Nguyen, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Michael Nguyen attended the University of Arkansas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. He furthered his education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2008. In 2009, our dentist completed a General Practice Residency in Newark Beth Israel. Dr. Nguyen has served in the area for over seven years. He is committed to providing the best dental care possible, so he continues his education monthly. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the International Dental Implant Association, and the Dallas Dental Society. Dr. Nguyen strives to provide quality dental care with compassion.

Dr. Nguyen has four siblings. When not in the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures.


Dana Fuhrmann, DDS, MS


Dr. Dana Michelle Fuhrmann attended Texas Woman’s University (TWU), where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She then continued her education at the University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio, earning her dental degree in 2008. Dr. Fuhrmann completed a residency in prosthodontics in 2011 at UTHSCSA. Dr. Fuhrmann has been practicing in the area for five years and continues her education monthly. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American College of Prosthodontics, the International Academy of Gnathology, and the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Fuhrmann’s goal is to create healthy, beautiful smiles for her patients and to be a practitioner that they can fully trust with their dental care.

Dr. Fuhrmann and her husband, Chris, live in Muenster, TX. In her spare time, Dr. Fuhrmann enjoys crafting, painting, and cooking.


Tom Draper, DMD, MD

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Draper received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2003. He then went on to obtain his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, after which he completed an intern year in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He then finished his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center. Since completing his residency in 2009, he has been an associate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Trinity Valley Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center located in Forney, Texas.

As a board eligible candidate, he specializes in the treatment in the treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations involving functional and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. His practice is focused on providing surgically advanced dental implant techniques.

He is currently an attending surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center, where he is involved with the training of residents in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Baylor College of Dentistry. He also holds surgical privileges at Baylor University Medical Center’s Children’s House.

Dr. Draper is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In the past he has been a member of The National Ski Patrol.

Meet Our Team

Roxanne Marroquin – Dental Hygienist

Roxanne graduated Magna Cum Laude from Collin College. She then continued her education at Texas Woman’s University (TWU), where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. Roxanne is new to North Texas Dental. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She strives to provide the best care for each and every patient that sits in her chair. Roxanne loves meeting new people and wants each patient to have a positive experience while receiving care here. Roxanne wants each of her patients to leave with a smile. Roxanne loves working here because being a part our team is like being a part of a big family! The overall atmosphere of the office is very stress-free and upbeat.

Roxanne has two loving parents and two brothers; she is the middle child. In her spare time, Roxanne loves dancing, shopping, travelling, spending time with family and friends, and trying new extreme adventures. Roxanne is a part-time dance instructor.


Michaela Brook Gray, Registered Dental Assistant

Michaela received her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certificate from Grayson College and is currently working on her Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) certificate at Collin College. Michaela is a valued member of our dental team. She orders products, sets up for procedures, assists the doctors during their procedures, and makes sure everything has been sterilized and disinfected properly. She also works the front office when needed, answering phones and scheduling patients. Michaela loves working at North Texas Dental because we make our patients and team feel like family. We all get along so well.

Michaela and her husband married in 2014 and were baptized together at Pitt Church of Christ. They do not currently have any children together, but they have Michaela’s step-daughter, Serenity (human), and a son, Boomer (dog). When she is not at the office, Michaela loves spending time with family, trying out new projects from Pinterest, and watching HGTV. Her favorite shows are Fixer Upper and Love It or List It.


Jennifer Nguyen, Practice Manager

Jennifer attended the University of Arkansas and University of Arkansas at Little Rock, earning her bachelor’s degree in biology. She is now a treasured member of our dental team. Jennifer enjoys meeting new people and building relationships with each patient. Forming relationships allows her to focus on each patient’s individual needs and allows her to ensure that each visit is positive. Jennifer is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. Jennifer loves working at North Texas Dental because here, our patients’ care and comfort are our top priorities. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and gentle. Our team and patients are like one big family.

Jennifer has four brothers and two wonderful parents. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, cycling, and traveling.
